Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Security Architect II to join our Security Operations Command Center in Krakow. You will respond in real time to platform and carrier issues, analyze traffic and networks, and help mitigate high‑impact security events for top brands.

In this role you’ll work with cross‑functional teams, communicate findings in English, and support customers through complex incidents, including night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience with Internet technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS and web servers.
• Customer-facing experience and understanding of the consulting process.
• Proactive mindset with urgency and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and collaboration, accountable team member.
• Ability to communicate complex technical content in English.

• Engaging in mitigation techniques to prevent vector attacks
• Analysing customer traffic, applications and systems to tailor our security solutions and answer customers security needs
• Collaborating with a cross-functional project team to scope, set timelines, create technical solutions, and support the implementation.
• Providing support to customers to remedy and resolve network and connectivity issues
• Communicating with customers regarding challenges and providing updates and results on your mitigation and analysis

As a Security Architect II, you will be responsible for:
