Akamai is seeking a Security Architect to support customers in Italy as part of the EMEA team, with collaboration across a 25-person Italian group. The role emphasizes consultative, customer-facing responsibilities and delivering secure, scalable solutions using Akamai's portfolio.

Daily engagement with external customers in Italy and broader EMEA accounts requires strong cybersecurity knowledge, exceptional communication, and the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.

Qualificações

• Fluency in English; Italian is optional.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer consultation by participating in calls with a Security Consultant to identify challenges and recommend customized solutions using Akamai's portfolio.
• Prepare security assessments of existing customer setups and suggest actionable improvements to enhance overall security.
• Design, deploy, and verify security configurations; clarify testing processes on the Akamai staging network for customers as required.
• Provide daily assistance to long-term customers, ensuring their setup stays optimized and aligned with current security best practices.

The team includes 12 members promoting collaboration, growth, and knowledge sharing. As a Security Architect, you'll support the EMEA market, focusing on Italy. Collaboration with a 25-person Italian team is key, with occasional support for other EMEA accounts. This position highlights teamwork, diverse perspectives, and delivering exceptional client services in a connected, supportive environment.

This Security Architect position involves consultative, customer-facing responsibilities with full client interaction. It requires daily engagement with external customers in Italy, a region demanding quick responses, clear prioritization, and extensive technical expertise.

As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Providing customer consultation by participating in calls with a Security Consultant to identify challenges and recommend customized solutions using Akamai's portfolio.
• Preparing security assessments of existing customer setups and suggesting actionable improvements to enhance overall security measures effectively.
• Designing, deploying, and verifying security configurations; clarifying testing processes on the Akamai staging network for customers as required.
• Providing daily assistance to long-term customers, ensuring their setup stays optimized and aligned with current security best practices.

• Exhibit comprehensive expertise in cybersecurity concepts, network security and Content Delivery Network principles (a mandatory requirement).
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to effectively articulate intricate technical concepts through verbal, written, and listening abilities.
• Exhibit adaptability and focus: Capable of prioritizing tasks in a dynamic customer setting while fostering meaningful professional connections over strict procedures.
• Collaborate effectively, support teammates, share knowledge, and embrace teamwork without isolating or prioritizing individual efforts over collective goals.
• Be Solution-Oriented and have proven ability to pinpoint blockers and opportunities, then design and execute efficient resolutions.
• Demonstrate fluency in English to effectively manage client discussions and team collaboration; Italian language skills are optional but appreciated.
