Job summary

Roche is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for Secure Access Network to design and implement advanced firewall segmentation using Fortinet and Palo Alto technologies. You will develop detailed architectures, diagrams, and implementation plans while collaborating with an global team.

The role involves configuring FortiGate and Palo Alto devices, managing VPNs and routing, and performing migrations. A 3+ year background in NGFWs and manufacturing experience is valued. On-call rotation applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3+ years designing, deploying, and supporting Next-Generation Firewalls with strong networking background.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate/FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer and Palo Alto Networks (PA-Series, VM-Series).
• Solid understanding of security concepts, trends, and best practices in validated environments.
• Experience in Manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design robust network segmentation strategies using Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Create network diagrams, design documents, and implementation plans for segmentation environments.
• Configure, deploy, and manage Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls (Panorama, FortiManager).
• Implement firewall policies, NAT, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), routing, and security features.
• Perform migrations and upgrades of firewall infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues related to firewall configurations.
