Job summary

Roche is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for Secure Access Network in Warsaw. You will design, implement, and maintain segmentation environments using Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls, manage VPNs and routing, and troubleshoot complex network issues in a fixed-term, 1–2 year role.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of NGFW experience, strong Fortinet and Palo Alto skills, and a background in manufacturing environments. English communication and global collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3+ years designing, deploying, and supporting Next-Generation Firewalls with strong networking.
• Hands-on Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) experience and Fortinet's Security Fabric.
• Hands-on Palo Alto Networks experience (PA-Series, VM-Series, Panorama, App-ID, User-ID, WildFire, Threat Prevention, URL Filtering).
• Security concepts, trends, and best practices in validated environments; operational security skills.
• Experience in Manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust network segmentation strategies using Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Create network diagrams, design documents, and implementation plans for segmentation environments.
• Collaborate with network architects to integrate firewall solutions into existing infrastructure.
• Configure, deploy, and manage FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls (including Panorama and FortiManager).
• Implement firewall policies, NAT, VPNs, routing, and other security features to enforce segmentation.
• Perform migrations and upgrades of firewall infrastructure and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Stay updated on threats and security technologies; provide rotating on-call support.
