XM is seeking an experienced SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with strong Python skills to join the QA team in Poland. The role focuses on test automation framework development and extending test coverage for functional and performance suites of a Forex brokerage core, including API testing and CI/CD integration.

You will collaborate closely with developers to ensure quality throughout the software development cycle and contribute to testing strategy and automation best practices.

Qualificações

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
• 3+ years of comprehensive experience in quality assurance.
• 2+ years of practical Python development experience.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing automated tests with Python.
• Experience in testing REST APIs.
• Confident knowledge of Git.
• Experience with agile software development and testing procedures.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the development team to improve software delivery and quality across the SDLC.
• Translate high level requirements into technical specifications.
• Advise on performance testing strategies to improve delivery and quality.
• Create test procedures and plans from product design docs and certification requirements.
• Design, develop and maintain functional and performance automated tests.
• Build and integrate test automation frameworks and libraries into CI pipelines.
• Develop emulators for mobile testing.
• Manage issues and drive resolutions in the testing process.
• Share technical expertise with the QA team.
