Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join the Market Connectivity team in Kraków. You will design and implement automated testing for ultra-low latency trading systems, focusing on reliability and performance in a high-throughput computing environment.

You will develop and maintain test frameworks in Python, create API/integration/end-to-end tests, and ensure smooth CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software testing and automation principles.
• Hands-on Python development for test automation.
• Experience designing, developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and suites.
• Strong knowledge of API, integration, end-to-end and regression testing.
• Hands-on with PyTest, Playwright, Selenium or similar frameworks.
• Good understanding of market connectivity or trading workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design test strategies and automation approaches for low-latency trading platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and test suites using Python.
• Create automated API, integration, end-to-end, and regression tests for trading workflows.
• Validate exchange connectivity, market data flows, and order processing across venues.
• Verify functional correctness, reliability, and performance of trading gateways and market access components.
• Analyze requirements and latency-sensitive workflows to ensure effective test coverage.
• Investigate test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to production readiness of trading systems.
