Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to design and implement automated tests across UI, API, and end-to-end layers for a greenfield, DDD-based platform. The role emphasizes collaboration with product owners and developers in an agile Kanban environment.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years in QA, strong programming skills, and hands-on experience with TestContainers, Swagger, Postman, and CI/CD testing tools.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience as a Tester/QA Engineer, including 2 years at Senior level
• Hands-on experience with UI, API, and end-to-end testing
• Experience with distributed systems and service integrations
• Knowledge of asynchronous/event-driven patterns and REST APIs
• Experience with CI/CD integrations and test automation in CI pipelines
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Strong English both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Design and create test scenarios and test cases for functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
• Prepare, maintain, and execute automated tests across UI, API, and end-to-end layers
• Test distributed systems and service integrations
• Validate asynchronous and event-driven communication patterns
• Support QA activities in a DDD-based product
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor system metrics using Grafana
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and testers in an agile Kanban environment
• Contribute to development of core platform components
