Job summary

Euroclear Kraków is seeking a Scrum Master to guide agile squads in a fast-paced environment. You will facilitate ceremonies, coach teams, remove impediments, and help drive continuous delivery improvements across product areas.

The role requires strong communication, servant leadership, and collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders. You will monitor progress with metrics, ensure backlog clarity, and maintain governance while embracing a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Agile values and Scrum practices.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in software delivery.
• PSM/CSM or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication; ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and keep discussions focused and time-boxed.
• Coach the squad, Product Owner, and stakeholders on Agile values and ways of working.
• Identify and remove impediments, risks, and dependencies affecting delivery.
• Support the Product Owner with a clear, prioritized backlog and goals.
• Promote transparency with metrics and delivery insights.
• Foster continuous improvement in processes and collaboration.
• Ensure deliverables follow guidelines and Agile governance.

The Innovation tribe within IT delivers digital capabilities across business lines and entities. To support its continued growth and ambitions, we are strengthening the team with a Scrum Master who can help squads work effectively in a fast-paced, truly Agile environment.

The Scrum Master will act as a servant leader and facilitator, supporting one or more squads in applying Agile principles, improving delivery flow, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring discussions are focused, time-boxed, and outcome-oriented.
• Coach the squad, Product Owner, and stakeholders on Agile values, Scrum practices, and ways of working that enable effective collaboration and sustainable delivery.
• Identify, track, and help remove impediments, risks, and dependencies that prevent the team from achieving sprint and delivery goals.
• Support the Product Owner in maintaining a clear, prioritised, and ready backlog, ensuring the squad understands the goals, scope, and expected outcomes of the work.
• Promote transparency through meaningful team metrics, delivery insights, and clear communication on progress, risks, and impediments.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by helping the team inspect, adapt, and improve its processes, collaboration, and delivery quality.
• Ensure deliverables and team practices follow relevant guidelines and standards, including documentation and Agile governance expectations.

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Agile values, Scrum principles, and empirical ways of working.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile facilitator, or similar role in a software delivery environment.
• Scrum Master certification, such as PSM, CSM, or equivalent, is a plus.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Good organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to priorities and bring structure in a changing environment.
• Experience with Agile delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Confluence is an advantage.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated technology environments is a plus.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
