The Innovation tribe within IT is the delivery arm of game-changing digital capabilities across business lines and entities. We are looking for a Lead Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative technical solutions within the Euroclear market infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and exploit new technological opportunities, particularly in the areas of data and cloud computing.
• Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and strategic trends to enhance product and service offerings.
• Manage and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure the alignment of technical solutions with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end project lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
• Provide technical expertise and thought leadership in agile methodologies and software development practices.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide status updates, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and advancements to inform strategic decision‑making.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the Innovation tribe's strategic roadmap.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Hands‑on knowledge with .NET technology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Hands‑on experience with Cloud, preferably Azure.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD, IaC, and observability.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with a keen ability to identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a non‑technical audience.
