Job summary

Euroclear Kraków is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join the IT Innovation tribe. You will design, develop, and maintain automated tests for API and web applications within a fast-paced Agile environment.

Collaborate with product owners and developers to ensure high-quality, reliable software; leverage Playwright and CI/CD practices; experience with SQL and web technologies is valued.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience with C#, TypeScript, Java, or another object-oriented programming language.
• Solid understanding of semantic HTML and CSS.
• Good knowledge of API testing and UI test automation frameworks such as Playwright.
• Professional experience using Git in a collaborative software development environment.
• Strong understanding of software quality principles and how to improve quality processes.
• Demonstrated experience working across the full software development life cycle within an Agile team.
• Good knowledge of SQL.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear test scenarios and automated test cases.
• Design, implement, execute, and maintain automated tests for API and web applications to validate functionality, performance, and user experience.
• Support continuous improvement of testing practices, quality processes, and automation coverage within the Agile team.
• Identify, report, and follow up on defects, working closely with developers to support timely resolution.

The Innovation tribe within IT is responsible for delivering these digital capabilities across business lines and entities. To support its continued growth and ambitions, we are strengthening the team with a Test Automation Engineer who will work in a fast-paced, truly Agile environment.

The Test Automation Engineer will contribute to software delivery by designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests, while also supporting manual testing activities when required. The role is key to ensuring high-quality, reliable, and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear test scenarios and automated test cases.

Your Qualifications

• Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB Certified Tester, or another relevant professional certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Angular.
• Experience with test-driven development.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
• Experience with AI-native development practices, including the use of AI-assisted coding, testing, and automation tools to improve engineering productivity and software quality.
