Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Senior SAP SuccessFactors Solution Architect in Poland with 10+ years of IT experience and 5+ years in SAP SF. You will provide E2E technical oversight across SF and integrations, acting as an independent challenger to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient architectures.

You will review functional and technical designs, leverage MuleSoft and other middleware, and mentor delivery teams while guiding cross-system integration strategies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Understand and assess SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Time Tracking and Payroll).
• Review and challenge SuccessFactors designs (functional, technical, configuration).
• Provide understanding of SuccessFactors integration mechanisms (APIs, Integration Center, SFTP).
• Review and challenge integration architecture and data flows across middleware.
• Ensure integrations are scalable, secure and reusable across systems.
• Identify cross-system dependencies and architectural risks.
• Act as E2E technical authority across teams.
• Lead triage and resolution of complex integration defects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to architects and delivery teams.

We are looking for a Senior SAP SuccessFactors Solution Architect with 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience and 5+ years in SuccessFactors solution/integration architecture.

The architect will provide E2E solution oversight across SuccessFactors, MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms/middleware, and connected internal/external systems. The role will act as an independent technical challenger to ensure business processes, application design and integrations are scalable, efficient and supportable.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and assess SuccessFactors functional processes and modules, including Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Time Tracking and Payroll.
• Review and challenge SuccessFactors functional, technical and configuration designs to ensure they meet business requirements and support scalable processes.
• Provide strong understanding of SuccessFactors integration mechanisms, including OData APIs, Compound Employee API, REST/SOAP, Integration Center and SFTP.
• Review and challenge integration architecture, APIs, data flows and integration patterns across MuleSoft or other middleware/integration platforms.
• Ensure integrations across SuccessFactors and internal/external systems are scalable, efficient, reusable, secure and supportable.
• Identify cross-system dependencies, architectural risks, performance issues and opportunities for simplification.
• Act as the E2E technical authority and independent challenger across functional, technical and integration teams.
• Lead triage and resolution of complex cross-system defects and integration issues, including root-cause analysis.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other architects and delivery teams.

• Strong SuccessFactors functional, technical and integration knowledge.
• Experience with large-scale, high-volume SuccessFactors implementations and integrations.

• Experience integrating SuccessFactors with multiple internal and external enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of scalability, performance, data, security, error handling and supportability considerations.
• Proven ability to challenge and influence functional, technical and integration teams without direct authority.
