Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment seeks an experienced SAP integration specialist to design, implement, and support scalable enterprise integrations across SAP and non-SAP platforms. You will translate business requirements into technical designs and contribute to integration strategy and standards.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years of SAP experience, with 5+ in integration, and hands-on work with CPI, PI/PO, BTP, and SAP Cloud Connector in hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of SAP experience with at least five years in SAP integration.
• Proven delivery experience in complex enterprise SAP environments.
• Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI), SAP PI/PO, SAP BTP, SAP API Management, and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Hands-on integration experience across SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, and non-SAP apps.
• Knowledge of REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC/BAPI, XML, JSON, and file interfaces.

Job description

Work Style: Hybrid (Minimum 2 Office Days Weekly / 40 hrs weekly)

Role Objective

Design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise integrations across SAP and non-SAP platforms. Translate business and solution requirements into effective technical integration designs supporting core business processes. Provide SAP integration subject-matter expertise and contribute to integration strategy, standards, and best practices. Support successful end-to-end delivery across complex SAP transformation programmes and enterprise landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical integration designs.
• Develop and document integration architecture, interfaces, data flows, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with solution architects, developers, product teams, vendors, and business stakeholders throughout delivery.
• Deliver integrations across SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Datasphere, SAP BTP services, and non-SAP applications.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with agreed architecture, security, and integration standards.
• Support improvements to integration monitoring, operational support, and service processes.

Tasks

• Configure, build, test, and troubleshoot integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite and related middleware technologies.
• Develop APIs and integration flows using API-led, event-driven, and other appropriate integration patterns.
• Implement interfaces using REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC/BAPI, XML, JSON, and file-based methods.
• Configure secure hybrid-cloud connectivity using SAP Cloud Connector and enterprise authentication technologies.
• Apply API lifecycle management, OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, and Entra ID or Azure AD controls where required.
• Facilitate technical workshops, guide vendors and project teams during implementation, and maintain technical documentation for operational handover.
• Diagnose integration failures and coordinate effective technical resolution across involved platforms and teams.
• Production-ready integration solutions connecting SAP and non-SAP platforms.
• Approved integration designs, architecture documentation, and technical specifications.
• Tested APIs, integration flows, and secure connectivity configurations.
• Technical workshop outputs, implementation guidance, and knowledge-transfer material.
• Improved monitoring, support, and operational processes for enterprise integrations.

Decision Authority / Responsibility

• Recommend appropriate integration technologies, patterns, and security approaches within the agreed enterprise architecture.
• Provide technical assurance during design reviews and identify departures from architecture or integration standards.
• Own assigned integration deliverables through design, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and handover.
• Escalate material security, compliance, architecture, operational, or delivery risks to the appropriate stakeholders.

Requirements

• Seven to ten years of SAP experience, including at least five years dedicated to SAP integration.
• Proven delivery experience within complex enterprise SAP environments.
• Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI), SAP PI/PO, SAP BTP, SAP API Management, and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Hands-on experience integrating SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, and non-SAP applications.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP web services, OData, IDoc, RFC/BAPI, XML, JSON, file interfaces, and integration design patterns.
• Understanding of hybrid-cloud environments, API lifecycle management, OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, Entra ID or Azure AD, and enterprise security and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with experience in global and cross-functional teams.
• Self-driven, proactive, and delivery-focused, with experience working in Agile environments.
• SAP Certified Development Associate - Integration Suite or SAP BTP certification is preferred.
