Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior SAP MM Consultant to join a large-scale S/4HANA rollout for a leading manufacturing client. The candidate will contribute to shaping and delivering a global transformation program, focusing on Materials Management, Warehouse/Stock Room Management, and end-to-end SAP solutions.

The role requires extensive SAP project experience, strong IDOC knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 50% during the rollout period.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of SAP project experience with SAP MM and related modules.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Warehouse Management / Stock Room Management.
• Strong understanding of internal warehouse and purchasing processes.
• Experience with IDOCs for orders, ASNs, receipts and dispatches.
• Experience in at least 1 SAP E2E implementation.
• Experience in at least 1 SAP S/4HANA rollout (Fit to template / explore).
• Data migration concepts using SAP tools for Masterdata and transactions.
• Good communication and assertiveness as the consultant will play the role of ‘Template Defender’.

• Willingness to travel (Min 50%. 10-12 weeks of travel over 6-9 months of rollout duration)

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of SAP project experience with in-depth knowledge of SAP Materials Management (Organization structure, Master Data, Direct & Indirect Procurement, Inventory Management, Pricing, Account determination, Worklows)

• In depth knowledge of SAP Warehouse Management / Stock Room Management (Organization structure, Master Data, Inbound, Outbound, Internal processes)

• Very good process understanding for internal business processes in the areas of warehouse management and integration to other core SAP modules.

• Strong knowledge of IDOCs for orders, ASNs, receipts and despatches are must.

• Very good process understanding for internal business processes in the areas of purchasing and integration to other core SAP modules.

• Experience in at least 1 SAP E2E implementation over the entire life cycle.

• Experience at least 1 SAP S/4HANA rollout with experience in conducting Fit to template / explore phases.

• Providing sound solutions in the S/4HANA environment based on the customer’s specific business requirements.

• Experience with data migration concepts using standard SAP toolsets for Controlling masterdata and transaction objects.

• Good communication and assertiveness as the consultant will play the role of ‘Template Defender’.
