Outokumpu in Katowice is seeking an experienced SAP Fiori & BTP Developer to build and enhance applications across SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and SAP BTP. You will develop SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications, create extensions on SAP BTP, and connect applications with S/4HANA services.

SAP Fiori & BTP Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Fiori & BTP Developer to build and enhance applications across SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

You will develop SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications, create extensions on SAP BTP, and connect applications with S/4HANA services. Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and other developers, you will deliver user-friendly solutions that support our Clean Core approach through standard functionality, released APIs, and side‑by‑side extensions where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern business applications and digital solutions.
• Build new applications, enhancements, and extensions that support business processes and user needs.
• Integrate applications with enterprise systems, APIs, web services, and external platforms.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain applications across development, testing, and production environments.
• Apply scalable, maintainable, and secure development practices when designing solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Test, troubleshoot, and optimize application functionality, user experience, and performance.
• Contribute to source control, automated deployment processes, and quality assurance activities.
• Participate in code reviews, development standards, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience developing web‑based business applications or enterprise solutions.
• Experience working with modern application development frameworks and cloud‑based platforms.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript and familiarity with front‑end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Experience integrating applications with APIs, web services, and backend systems.
• Understanding of application architecture, data models, and service‑oriented design principles.
• Experience with source code management tools and collaborative development practices.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript or other modern programming languages.
• Experience developing and deploying applications in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Experience working with enterprise databases, integration platforms, or middleware solutions.
• Experience integrating business applications across multiple systems and technologies.
• Understanding of application security, authorization, and access management concepts.
• Familiarity with extensibility, modular architecture, and software engineering best practices.

Salary range in Poland: 13,880 to 17,340 zl. gross per month. Final offer depends on candidate's experience and competence.
