Job summary

Outokumpu Chrome Oy in Katowice, Poland, seeks an experienced SAP Fiori & BTP Developer to build and enhance applications across SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and SAP Business Technology Platform.

You will develop SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications, create extensions on SAP BTP, and connect applications with S/4HANA services, collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and other developers to deliver user-friendly solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 development experience.
• Experience with CAP on SAP BTP in Cloud Foundry.
• Strong understanding of OData and REST APIs and how SAP Fiori apps consume S/4HANA backend services.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and developers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications using SAP Fiori elements and/or freestyle SAPUI5.
• Build applications and side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP using CAP with Node.js or Java.
• Integrate applications with OData V2/V4 services, REST APIs, and released S/4HANA APIs, including ABAP CDS/RAP.
• Configure and deploy applications for access through SAP Fiori Launchpad.
• Apply Clean Core principles when designing and implementing solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with business and technical teams.
• Test, troubleshoot, and optimize application functionality and performance.
• Use Git and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Contribute to development standards, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Fiori & BTP Developer to build and enhance applications across SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

You will develop SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications, create extensions on SAP BTP, and connect applications with S/4HANA services. Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and other developers, you will deliver user-friendly solutions that support our Clean Core approach through standard functionality, released APIs, and side-by-side extensions where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications using SAP Fiori elements and freestyle SAPUI5.
• Build applications and side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) in the Cloud Foundry environment.
• Integrate applications with OData V2/V4 services, REST APIs, and released S/4HANA APIs, including services based on ABAP CDS and RAP.
• Configure and deploy applications for access through SAP Fiori Launchpad.
• Apply Clean Core principles when designing and implementing solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications using SAP Fiori elements and/or freestyle SAPUI5.
• Hands-on experience developing applications on SAP BTP using CAP with Node.js or Java.
• Solid understanding of OData and REST APIs and how SAP Fiori applications consume S/4HANA backend services.
• Working knowledge of S/4HANA, ABAP CDS, RAP-based services, and released SAP APIs.
• Experience with SAP Fiori Launchpad and Git.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, architects, and developers.
