Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Poland is seeking an experienced SAP Finance Senior Consultant to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team in Katowice and help clients navigate IT transformations with SAP solutions.

You will work on end-to-end SAP FI/CO implementations (S/4HANA), collaborate with business and tech stakeholders, and contribute to R&D driven innovations that expand SAP capabilities across global organizations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in at least one SAP FI/CO sub-module (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, CO, PS, RE-FX, Treasury)
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project, preferably within an S/4HANA environment
• Understanding of financial business processes and their integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM)
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system solutions

Responsibilities

• Support clients in end-to-end IT transformation programs with a focus on SAP Finance (FI/CO)
• Contribute to implementation projects, including greenfield, brownfield, and S/4HANA system conversions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to design and deliver scalable SAP solutions aligned with business requirements
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using SAP best practices
• Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities to ensure smooth system transitions
• Participate in SAP Consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities
• Collaboration with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new SAP solutions
• Report the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Functional Expertise - strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO processes with hands-on experience in S/4HANA projects
• Project Delivery & Methodology - proven experience in supporting end-to-end implementations (greenfield, brownfield, conversions) using methodologies such as Agile or SAP Activate
• Stakeholder & Communication Skills - ability to effectively collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, translate requirements into solutions, and communicate clearly

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Hands-on experience in at least one of the SAP FI/CO sub-modules: FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting), CO (Product Costing, Margin Analysis), PS, RE-FX, or Treasury
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project, preferably within an S/4HANA environment
• Understanding of financial business processes and their integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM)
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system solutions

Ideally, you'll also have

• German language skills are an advantage
• Confidence to take initiative and grow into more senior responsibilities
