Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Senior Manager to lead complex IT transformation programs and drive SAP solutions for global clients.

You will manage large-scale SAP implementations (including S/4HANA), guide cross-functional teams, and contribute to business development while mentoring others. The role supports hybrid work in Katowice with exposure to an international EY environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience across multiple SAP FI/CO areas.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation projects, including S/4HANA.
• Ability to design integrated SAP solutions spanning FI/CO and other modules.

The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Senior Manager to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team. In this role, you will lead complex IT transformation programs, advise clients at a strategic level, and drive the delivery of cutting-edge SAP solutions for leading global organizations.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end IT transformation programs with a focus on SAP Finance (FI/CO) solutions
• Manage large-scale implementation projects, including greenfield, brownfield, and S/4HANA system conversions
• Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality delivery, risk management,and adherence to project timelines and budgets
• Drive solution design decisions, ensuring scalability, standardization, and alignment with SAP best practices
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposal development, client presentations, and identifying new opportunities
• Mentor and coach team members, supporting their professional growth and development
• Participate in implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities
• Collaboration with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new SAP solutions
• Report the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations

Skills and attributes for success

• Solution Architecture & Functional Leadership– broad and deep understanding of SAP FI/CO with the ability to design end-to-end solutions, including integrations with modules such as MM, SD, and others
• Delivery Excellence– strong track record of leading end-to-end implementations using methodologies such as Agile or SAP Activate
• Stakeholder Management & Leadership– ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, lead teams, and communicate complex topics effectively

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Strong, hands‑on experience across multiple SAP FI/CO areas, with a solid understanding of end‑to‑end finance processes
• Experience in multiple end‑to‑end SAP implementation projects, including S/4HANA transformations
• Proven ability to design integrated SAP solutions, covering FI/CO and its integration with other modules (e.g., SD, MM)
• Experience in acting as a Solution Architect or leading solution design streams in complex transformation programs
• Experience in business development / go‑to‑market activities (e.g., proposals, client discussions, opportunity shaping)

Ideally, you’ll also have

• German language skills are a strong advantage
• Strong leadership presence and the ability to inspire teams
