The IT&DATA Supporting Functions is looking for a new IT&DATA Global Product Owner to manage I2P Invoice Management scope. The role is based in Warsaw (Poland) and reports to the I2P Senior Product Owner.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision, Strategy & Portfolio Management
- Own and evolve the product vision for I2P Invoice Management, ensuring alignment with business strategies, transformation goals and IT&DATA objectives
- Maintain, iterate and communicate the Product Vision Board as a central artefact to drive shared purpose, direction and alignment across the squad teams, including extensions and business stakeholders
- Manage I2P Invoice Management portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment and prioritization across squads, in close collaboration with other Product Owners (Squad/Extension) and various stakeholders
- Work closely with Chapter Leads to identify resource needs, align on skills and capabilities and support the upskilling and development of the chapter members assigned to I2P Invoice Management area
- Safeguard the product’s CORE model and long‑term sustainability
Backlog & Roadmap Oversight
- Provide guidance and alignment on roadmap planning and backlog management, while enabling squad‑level autonomy
- Collaborate with squad Product Owners to ensure that backlogs reflect business priorities, user needs and sustainable solutions
- Ensure backlog guardrails are defined for products in scope, in alignment with Extension Product Owners
- Support the translation of product objectives into actionable initiatives and ensure value delivery focus is maintained across the scope
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Serve as the primary bridge between business and IT for I2P Invoice Management, ensuring expectations are clear, priorities are aligned and value is continuously delivered
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including DBS (P2P), Finance Design Authority, e‑Invoicing Program, internal support teams (AMS) and external partners
- Facilitate effective governance rituals (steering committees, OKRs reviews…) and ensure delivery performance is visible, structured and transparent
Risk Management & Escalation
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks that may impact product delivery, stability or alignment with strategic goals
- Handle escalations from squads or stakeholders, unlocking blockers and providing support to drive resolution
Transformational Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Act as a role model for product‑centric ways of working within the SF teams and across IT & Data organization
- Ensure the adoption and delivery of key product management artefacts (e.g. Vision, OKRs, Roadmap, Backlog) in a consistent and value‑driven way
- Champion cross‑squad and cross‑product alignment, encouraging simplification, coherence and scalable practices across the Finance Accounting team
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement, by establishing feedback loops with stakeholders, end‑users and team members to identify and act on areas for optimization
- Support the team in maturing their product mindset, encouraging autonomy, purpose and ownership
- Drive consistency and raise the standard of delivery by sharing best practices, success cases and lessons learned across squads and with key stakeholders
Financials & Budget Management
- Co‑build, maintain and optimise I2P cost model, ensuring clear ownership of costs associated with the I2P area
- Monitor and manage the budget across squads and vendors, ensuring cost‑efficiency, transparency and alignment with strategic and productivity priorities
- Manage vendor contracts (e.g., Basware), ensuring clarity of scope, performance monitoring and value delivery
- Support forecasting and reporting activities, in alignment with the SF Performance & Governance & Chapters team (PGC)
- Partner with SF PGC team to improve processes and reduce administrative overhead

Required Experience & Skills
- 8+ years of overall professional experience in IT, or product delivery roles, ideally in complex global organisations
- 3–5 years as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with proven ability to own and drive a product vision, translate business needs into product roadmaps and lead cross‑functional teams
- 5+ years hands‑on experience on SAP ERP FICO, exposure with SAP S/4HANA or other ERP system, with strong focus on SAP FI‑MM integration, FI‑AP, FI‑APP modules
- Experience in SAP implementation, core model governance or deployment support
- Strong understanding of Invoice‑to‑Pay process, particularly 3rd‑party vendor invoice management
- Ability to challenge, guide and collaborate with technical SAP teams, business stakeholders and external partners
- Previous experience in digital transformation, including leading or supporting the move from traditional to product‑centric models and driving simplification, harmonisation or automation initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to work across business, IT and external vendors (e.g. Basware, SAP) in a global, matrixed environment
- Experience leading or coordinating hybrid teams (internal/external), across geographies and time zones
- Ability to translate highly technical information into business insights
- Skilled in tools like Asana, Power BI, MIRO, or similar collaboration /productivity platforms
Bonus Experience
- Previous experience in Basware or equivalent SaaS platform integrated with SAP
- Experience with playbook frameworks, OKRs and product governance models
- Prior involvement in defining or scaling operating models, particularly in a transformation context
- Background in vendor or contract management (AMS, COE models, support transition)
