Eltel, a Scandinavian company with a Shared Services Center in Gdańsk, is expanding its RTR leadership team. The RTR Team Leader will manage a 20-person accounting-related team across markets, ensuring accurate financial reporting and process compliance.
This role blends remote work with periodic in-office collaboration in Gdańsk. Ideal candidates bring a Finance/Accounting degree with Level II SKWP certification, 4+ years in accounting, and 1+ year as a team leader, fluent in English.
By joining us as a RTR Team Leader, you will become part of the Eltel Group – a Scandinavian company operating in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Germany. We are a Shared Services Center based in Gdańsk, employing around 90 specialists across accounting, HR, and IT functions, supporting our international organization on a daily basis. As part of our continued organizational growth and focus on strengthening managerial capabilities, we are expanding our structure by introducing new team leader positions.
The Record to Report (RTR) team is responsible for the end-to-end accounting process to deliver accurate and timely financial data, and for ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. It manages general ledger activities, including journal entries, fixed assets, and IFRS 16 lease accounting, performs reconciliations, and supports month-end closing activities, including revenue recognition and group financial reporting. RTR also manages selected Treasury activities, covering transactional and operational processes such as payment processing, cash application and reconciliation, execution and settlement of foreign exchange transactions, cash flow forecasting, and management of bank guarantees.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the RTR team supporting all markets within the organization. You will manage and support a team of 20 engaged employees with varying levels of expertise and seniority. In your daily work, you will closely cooperate with the RTR Manager, who will provide guidance and support in achieving team goals and further development.
We offer a flexible working model, with most duties performed remotely. At the same time, this role requires attendance at our modern office in the Tryton office building in the center of Gdańsk approximately four times per month.
