Job summary

Eltel Group is seeking an RTR Accountant to join our finance team in Gdańsk. You will collaborate with international units, communicating in English and balancing online and offline work.

You may work from home or our central office, with a requirement to visit the office two times a month to maintain balance. The role covers General Ledger, Treasury, and month-end close processes, offering growth within finance.

Qualifications

• Higher education in finance and accounting.
• At least two years experience in accounting.
• Good English (B2) is a must.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Accuracy and keen eye for details.
• Open attitude, communicativeness and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Posting and processing financial transactions.
• Reconciling open items within the group.
• Performing account analysis, preparing supporting documentation and reconciling accounts.
• Managing fixed assets and lease accounting (IFRS16).
• Performing month-end closing activities.
• Preparing financial reports.
• Processing outgoing payments.
• Allocating and reconciling bank statements.
• Forecasting cash flow and cash positions.

Job description

By joining as an RTR Accountant, you will become a member of the Eltel Group. You will cooperate daily with our international units, thus we expect you to be able to communicate in English on a communicative level.

You choose your workplace - you can work from home or from our modern office in the center of Gdańsk, in the Tryton office building. However, we assume the need to come to the office two times a month to maintain a balance between our online and offline relations.

General Ledger

• Posting and processing financial transactions
• Reconciling open items within the group companies
• Performing account analysis, preparing supporting documentation and reconciling accounts
• Managing fixed assets and lease accounting in accordance with IFRS16
• Performing month-end closing activities
• Preparing financial reports

Treasury

• Processing outgoing payments
• Allocating and reconciling bank statements
• Performing account analysis, preparing supporting documentation and reconciling accounts
• Processing and reconciling bank quarantees
• Forecasting cash flow and cash positions

Our Expectations

We are looking for a person with first experience in accounting, who enjoys daily work in MS Excel as well as ERP systems and would like to develop within the financial services.

The Most Important In This Position Are

• higher education (finance and accounting, finance),
• at least two years experience in accounting,

• good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel,
