Job summary

SoftServe invites a senior robotics software architect to lead end-to-end perception architecture for outdoor vehicle platforms. You will drive AI-based perception, sensor fusion, and localization across edge and cloud, and mentor engineering teams.

You will partner with clients to translate requirements into roadmaps, set ML strategies, and balance latency with accuracy in safety-critical environments—shaping reusable accelerators for the practice.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development with C/C++ and Python; 4+ years in lead/architect roles.
• Hands-on AI-based robotics perception, CV, and agentic systems in production environments.
• Strong ML frameworks, robotics tooling (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, ROS/ROS2).

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end robotics perception architecture.
• Design scalable perception solutions with CV, sensor fusion, AI/ML, and localization.
• Collaborate with clients to translate requirements into roadmaps.
• Set AI/ML strategies for perception and data lifecycle.
• Integrate perception into navigation, manipulation, and planning.
• Balance latency, accuracy, and resources for safety-critical conditions.
• Lead engineering teams through design reviews and standards.
• Explore new technologies and build reusable accelerators.
