Job summary

Bridgestone is seeking a Retail Junior Accountant to support GL, AR, and AP processes. This hybrid role is based in Poznań and involves performing essential accounting tasks for a Swiss entity.

The ideal candidate should have a university degree in Finance or Accounting, preferably with some experience in accounting. The position emphasizes accuracy, customer service skills, and familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform General Ledger operations and journal entries.
• Carry out month-end and year-end closing tasks.

• Ensure compliance with Group finance policies.

Retail Junior Accountant

POSITION SNAPSHOT

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Retail Junior Accountant reporting directly to the Retail Team Leader. This is a local role based in Poznań. The position focuses on supporting GL, AR and AP process for Swiss entity.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger operations: journal entries, accrual calculation, balance sheet reconciliations, intracompany reconciliations
• Carrying out month‑end, year‑end closing tasks
• Identify potential process improvements
• KPI analysis, root cause identification and improvement suggestions
• Ensures daily operations are carried out according to Group finance policies and internal control requirements
• Daily bank statements posting and reconciliation
• AR tasks such as customer invoicing, posting standard accounting transactions, GL transitory account reconciliation, regular communication with point of sales
• Maintenance and clarification of customer accounts and outstanding items
• Processing and posting AP invoices
• Support to any local related queries within responsibility area
• Assisting with team/departmental projects (may include limited travel)
• Other ad‑hoc accounting/finance tasks

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education, Master, other certification

• University degree in Finance or Accounting

Experience (years)
