Career Team is seeking a Resource Room Specialist to triage customers, support flow, and provide high-touch assistance in the resource room. You will greet visitors, assess needs, and hand off to services with a warm, professional approach.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required, or comparable experience.
• Knowledge of the WIOA, TANF, and SNAP programs and other workforce program requirements.
• Ability to listen to customers, analyze expressed needs, and use good judgment in suggesting solutions or next steps.
• Comfortable assisting customers with computers and office equipment (copier, printer, and similar).
• Ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base and be culturally sensitive.
• Ability to meet and/or exceed set goals and objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, customer service, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written).
• A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, and maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
• Adherence to the principles of Extreme Customer Service in all interactions with internal and external customers.
• A Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors warmly and ensure they are comfortable.
• Triage customers to ensure their needs are met and exceptional customer service is provided.
• Assist customers with computer use and online assessments.
• Critique resumes and letters of introduction, and provide job search assistance and resources.
• Re-engage customers by discussing the range of available services and their potential benefits.
• Deliver dynamic presentations both in person and virtually.
• Create workshop schedules and invite partners to present based on participant needs.
• Call customers waiting for a space and book them a room to meet in.
• Provide and train on resources available within the Center for customers and staff alike.
• Coordinate office activities and collect feedback to improve service.
