Job summary

Lufthansa Group Business Services Sp. z o.o. in Kraków is seeking a Finance Transformation Analyst to drive data-driven planning and forecasting through TM1, Cubeware, and S/4HANA initiatives.

You will collaborate with Controlling and IT to implement innovative planning solutions and support monthly close processes. We value strong analytical mindset, independent working style, and excellent communication in English; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Initial knowledge of SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server or comparable databases.
• Advanced Excel skills, including macros; degree in Business Informatics or comparable qualification; initial experience with TM1 and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Together with the Controlling Data Warehouse team, develop forward-looking solutions for planning, forecasting, and simulation, creating the foundation for data-driven business management using TM1 and Cubeware.
• Support monthly closing, forecasting, and budgeting processes; assist with integration into group systems; develop risk simulation models.
• Act as the central point of contact for controlling applications; support reporting, analytics, and planning solutions based on TM1, Cubeware, Tableau, and SQL; provide 1st and 2nd level user support and training sessions.
• Contribute to the S/4HANA transformation within Finance, taking responsibility for migration and testing activities.

Tasks

• Together with the Controlling Data Warehouse (DWH) team, you develop forward-looking solutions for planning, forecasting, and simulation, creating the foundation for data-driven business management using TM1 and Cubeware

• You support the monthly closing, forecasting, and budgeting processes, assist with integration into group systems, and develop risk simulation models
• You act as the central point of contact for controlling applications and support reporting, analytics, and planning solutions based on TM1, Cubeware, Tableau, and SQL. You provide 1st and 2nd level support to users and share your expertise through training sessions
• You actively contribute to the S/4HANA transformation within the Finance area, taking responsibility for migration and testing activities

Requirements

• You have initial knowledge of SQL and experience working with Microsoft SQL Server or comparable database systems
• You possess advanced Excel skills, including macros. Ideally, you hold a degree in Business Informatics or a comparable qualification and have initial experience with IBM TM1 and Tableau

• You are interested in further developing your expertise in TM1, Cubeware, reporting systems, and S/4HANA
• You have strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset
• You work independently and have a data-driven approach to problem-solving
• You are a team player with strong communication skills
• You have good written English language skills (German nice to have)
