Job summary

Huzzle is seeking a VP of Automation Engineering to lead architecture and scale automation systems for a global client base. This hands-on executive role will shape AI-first development with n8n, Node.js/TypeScript, and Claude Code, building scalable platforms and guiding a high-performing team.

You will partner with the CEO on product and engineering strategy, own the technical roadmap, and drive execution across multi-client environments.

Qualifications

Proven production experience with n8n automation platforms.
Strong full-stack development skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
Experience leading engineers while remaining hands-on.
Daily use of Claude Code in development workflows.
Experience building AI/LLM systems in production.
Executive-level mindset aligning technical decisions with business outcomes.
Agency or services background with multi-client automation systems.

Responsibilities

Automation Architecture & Infrastructure: Own and scale end-to-end automation systems; design orchestration layers; ensure monitoring and self-healing.
Product Development: Build internal and client-facing products; own architecture to deployment; develop scalable automation products.
AI Systems & Intelligence Layer: Design and deploy production-grade AI/LLM systems; optimize prompts and reliability at scale.
Leadership & Technical Strategy: Lead and mentor engineering teams; define tech roadmap; align with CEO on strategy; oversee sprint delivery.
