Job summary

VSF Rentals is seeking a skilled Video Editor to craft high-performing paid social ads and engaging property content. Remote, full-time contract, you will turn provided hook/meat/CTA clips into compelling 9:16/1:1 formats for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, delivering polished edits on tight deadlines.

You'll handle short-form ads and longer property videos, apply captions, motion graphics, and audio enhancements, and work directly with the Marketing Manager to optimize retention and conversions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience editing direct response or performance video ads.
• Strong hooks, pacing, and retention for short-form content.
• Experience editing long-form content (YouTube, walkthroughs).
• Proficiency with Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve.

Responsibilities

• Assemble supplied hook, meat, and CTA footage into high-performing short-form ads.
• Mix and match hooks and CTAs to create ad variations for testing.
• Enhance all audio using Adobe Podcast before final edit.
• Edit YouTube videos featuring our properties.
• Produce unit and property video walkthroughs from supplied footage.
• Add captions, motion graphics, B-roll, music, and sound effects.
• Format content for 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, 16:9 placements.
• Meet daily deadlines; report progress to Marketing Manager.
