Coding Concepts LLC seeks a highly detail-oriented, certified Vascular Surgery Coder to join our revenue cycle team. You will review, analyze, and code complex diagnostic and interventional vascular surgery records, ensuring precise reimbursement and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of vascular anatomy, CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II coding guidelines, plus experience with interventional radiology coding, documentation review, and physician queries.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of vascular surgery experience.
• Active Coding Certification from AAPC or AHIMA required.

Responsabilidades

• Complex Coding: abstract and assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for open, endovascular, and diagnostic vascular procedures.
• Anatomical Component Coding: code for catheter placements, imaging, and interventions.
• Documentation Review: review operative reports, physician notes, and tests to ensure support for services.
• Physician Query & Collaboration: initiate precise queries when documentation is ambiguous or conflicting.
• Denial Management: analyze, appeal, and resolve vascular surgery coding denials.
• Compliance Monitoring: stay updated on NCCI edits, LCDs, and NCDs to ensure compliance.
