Job summary

UN Women ESARO is seeking a Consultant to manage travel services and logistics for regional meetings and events. The role requires coordinating with staff, consultants, and partners to ensure compliant travel; supporting travel systems, and producing reports and guidance materials.

The assignment is home-based with ESARO Nairobi office use as needed and occasional regional travel within ESA. The consultant will adhere to UN Women’s Duty Travel Policy, coordinate with vendors, and serve as focal

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary education is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, procurement or another relevant field is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate travel arrangements for UN Women staff and external participants.
• Review Travel Requests and Travel Claims for entitlement accuracy.
• Support approvals for travel-related payments and procurements.
• Ensure required travel documents and security clearances are uploaded.
• Maintain travel records in ERP and travel systems.
• Develop travel reports and guidance materials for users.
