Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Taxation, Finance or related field.
• At least five years tax experience in public accounting with progression in complexity and scope.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a senior tax level position.
• Solid technical skills in tax accounting.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to supervise staff and maintain high quality client service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, estates and trusts.
• Perform complex tax research for clients and respond to notices.
• Assist in IRS audits and represent clients in correspondence audits.
• Develop memoranda and guidance for submission to tax authorities.
• Manage multiple clients, budgets and production goals.
• Mentor staff and facilitate in-house training.
