Job summary

ROYCE & YOUNG PC seeks an experienced Tax Senior to join a small, client-focused firm. You will independently manage a broad range of tax and accounting assignments across individual, business, fiduciary, and bookkeeping engagements while maintaining high technical quality and professionalism.

This is a remote position offering a flexible schedule and the chance to work with diverse clients, including individuals, trusts, estates, corporations, and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns for various client types.
• Able to handle high net worth individuals and entities.
• Strong knowledge of tax law and regulations.
• Proven bookkeeping experience and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare returns that are client ready (accurate & substantially complete) for Partner review.
• Review individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns prepared by staff; resolve issues and present complete returns to Partner.
• Review and clean up clients’ QuickBooks bookkeeping before preparing business tax returns.
• Input and review monthly and quarterly QuickBooks bookkeeping for clients.
• Assist with tax research, notices, extensions, estimates and other tax projects as assigned.
