Job summary

Ciklum is seeking a Solution Architect for a full-time role in Poland. You will join a cross-functional team to design and evolve the client’s web applications and set architectural direction for the project.

You will lead initiatives to improve technical quality, drive event-driven and microservices architectures, and collaborate with engineering teams across the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Canada and beyond. The role emphasizes product-oriented delivery and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Deliver high-quality software projects using established best practices.
• Experience in Event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Modular API and UI patterns.
• Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Set architectural direction for the client’s web app.
• Initiate improvement initiatives for the technical quality of client’s application.
• Be passionate about Event-Driven and Microservices Architecture.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Canada and beyond.
• Be product-oriented. Develop software that other people want to use, define product features, participate in workshops with other product development teams and communicate the technical work of your team to other product development teams.
• Own workstreams and track progress toward wider team goals, and transparently communicate progress to the team and Technology Manager.
• Propose and implement new processes, designs and engineering practices that improve team effectiveness.
• Take responsibility for changes through to production and ensure they continue to work well.
