Kake, a remote-first company, seeks Senior Software Engineers for Node.js/React to build high-performance, scalable systems used by millions of users. You will own features end-to-end and collaborate closely with product and design to ship reliable software.

Requirements include 5+ years in software engineering with Node.js/React, REST or GraphQL API design, and experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD. This role supports a global, remote-first team and requires excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with hands-on Node.js and React.
• Experience designing and versioning REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Proficient with relational and NoSQL databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS/Azure) and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production features end-to-end across Node.js backends and React frontends.
• Design and version REST or GraphQL APIs to contract between frontend and backend.
• Make architectural decisions around data modelling and service boundaries.
• Model data across relational and NoSQL stores and ensure observability.
• Write clean, well-tested code and collaborate with product and design.
