Job summary

Your Jared is seeking a Senior Data QA Engineer to validate data pipelines and ensure quality across the entire data stack. The role will design tests, implement end-to-end strategies, and build dashboards to monitor data quality, while coordinating with analytics, data science, and platform teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or backend data systems.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with advanced joins/windowing.
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud storage (S3).
• Familiar with data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
• GitHub best practices and governance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data tests and quality checks across the full pipeline
• Create and execute end to end testing strategies for data pipelines
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for data workflows
• Define and track SLAs for data freshness, completeness, and accuracy
• Build scorecards and dashboards to monitor data quality
• Identify and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with analytics, data science, and platform engineering teams on scalable solutions
• Contribute to code reviews, engineering standards, and support junior team members
