Job summary

Dev.Pro, a remote-first European technology team, is hiring a Senior Test Automation Engineer to evolve a large fintech data platform. You will own end-to-end QA for backend services, AI-related components for data transformation, and complex integrations, building robust automation across a distributed system.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable platform capabilities, define QA strategy, implement automated test frameworks, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA/SDET with end-to-end automation ownership.
• Strong backend testing experience and API focus.
• Experience defining QA strategy and test coverage for complex systems.
• Proficient in Python and building automated test frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD integration and distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker and containerized test environments.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA across full SDLC with automation ownership.
• Design and implement automated test frameworks for backend services.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and expand coverage.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to define quality standards.
• Analyze defects and perform root-cause analysis.
