Job summary

CodiLime is seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement client requirements in the networking and software space. You will work on YANG-based mappings for OpenConfig models and contribute to unit tests, documentation, and tooling using Python and Linux environments.

You will collaborate with a US-based team, participate in technical discussions, and engage in pre-sales discussions when needed. Flexible work options include remote, office, or hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C programming with experience reading, analyzing, and refactoring existing C codebases.

Responsibilities

• Research and define how to implement client requirements and ideas.
• Take part in technical discussions with the client.
• Write and unit-test YANG-based mappings for OpenConfig models, using recently written designs.
• Create unit tests for your code, conduct code review, create documentation, and take part in other activities related to software development.
• Liaise with the infra team to understand the YANG language as needed and to seek a review of the new YANG mapping.
• Use AI agent-based tools to efficiently develop new tooling.
• Occasionally, take part in technical pre-sales meetings.
