Job summary

CodiLime in Poland is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize large-scale geo-distributed networking platforms using Go and modern distributed systems tooling.

You will work across Envoy, Linux networking, and low-level performance tuning, with Rust for Envoy WASM filters and C/C++ support. Flexible work options include remote, office, or hybrid.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years for Mid / 7 years for Senior of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Golang with extensive experience in designing and building distributed systems.
• At least 5 years of experience in building and managing large-scale geo-distributed networking software and solutions with relevant software design and development experience.
• Deep understanding of environments built around Envoy. Solid experience with Envoy Proxy (Data Plane) architecture combined with Go Control Plane
• Advanced knowledge of network protocols from L3 to L7, network infrastructure, and observability mechanisms
• Strong understanding of the Linux network stack, practical experience with eBPF, and hands-on skills in low-level socket/kernel performance tuning
• Practical knowledge of Rust specifically for developing and maintaining Envoy WASM filters
• Fundamental understanding of C and/or C++ to support low-level system integrations and debugging

As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:
