CodiLime is seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to join a strategic network automation initiative. You will transform XML/XPath feature definitions into Java implementations, build backend services and APIs, and collaborate with AI-powered tools to accelerate development workflows.

The role involves API integration, testing, debugging, and performance improvements in a cloud-first environment. Strong English and network knowledge are required, with remote/hybrid work options available.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Java software development.
• Experience with backend systems and API development.
• Knowledge of computer networks (switching, routing, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Strong English skills (B2+).

Responsabilidades

• Develop backend Java applications within a network domain.
• Transform network feature definitions based on XML/XPath into Java implementations.
• Build and extend backend services and APIs supporting automation workflows.
• Integrate AI agents into development and automation processes (AI-assisted code generation and validation).
• Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing.
• Investigate and resolve bugs, performance and scalability issues.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, and architects in an agile environment.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Support continuous improvement of development and automation processes.
