Job summary

ZEN.COM in Poland is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team. You will perform day-to-day General Ledger activities, post bank transactions, and support month-end closing in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in finance, solid Polish GAAP knowledge, ERP experience (Comarch Optima), excellent Excel skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger and full-cycle accounting.
• Good knowledge of Polish Accounting Standards; international standards are a plus.
• Experience with Comarch Optima or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day General Ledger accounting activities.
• Post and reconcile bank transactions.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
• Prepare and review tax calculations including CIT, VAT, WHT.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes.
• Support payroll-related accounting.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
