Job summary

GuidePoint Security LLC in the North Central region seeks an experienced SecOps Security Architect to support presales, solution architecture, engagement scoping, and technical delivery across SecOps and Data Analytics services. This role will develop target architectures and roadmaps while delivering high-value solutions.

The architect must lead through influence, communicate with executives, and balance client priorities, feasibility, and delivery risk to achieve business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in security operations or architecture.
• Experience designing or leading SIEM, SOAR, or security analytics engagements.
• Experience with client discovery, solution architectures, scoping engagements, and estimating effort.
• Advanced understanding of SOC.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery translating client objectives into current-state and target-state architectures.
• Provide presales support with architecture diagrams, proposals and client responses.
• Define engagement scope, assumptions, deliverables, and level-of-effort estimates.
• Provide architectural leadership across SecOps Engineering and Data Analytics engagements.
• Evaluate SIEM, SOAR, data pipelines, observability, automation, AI for client use cases.
• Develop and maintain reference architectures and technical standards.
• Mentor engineers and review designs for accuracy and scope alignment.
• Collaborate with sales to qualify opportunities and align delivery with client needs.
• Support architecture workshops and delivery-quality reviews.
