This role is responsible for managing both inbound and outbound client interactions. The Specialist will process orders from existing clients, answer questions and drive sales. Additionally, the role includes proactively reaching out to accounts that have not placed orders recently, with the aim of re‑engaging clients and generating new business. All activities are documented in the CRM, following program guidelines and business rules.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls and emails from clients wishing to place orders, ensuring a professional and efficient experience.
- Proactively engage with customer accounts, with the goal of order generation.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all communications and order processing in the CRM.
- Maintain a working knowledge of program guidelines, product or disease state for the assigned program(s).
- Answer incoming calls in a professional manner following client guidelines and business rules.
- Perform outgoing calls in a professional manner following client guidelines.
- Manage calls in a professional, systematic, and organized manner.
- Respond to stakeholder inquiries and provide education or information.
- Identify and elevate priority issues to the right stakeholders.
- Focus on and provide exemplary customer service.
- Troubleshoot IT/technical inquiries as needed.
- Participate in program‑specific training and other development programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably sales or customer service experience.
- Ability to establish rapport quickly with clients in a virtual environment.
- Skilled at understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Proven ability to identify sales opportunities during client interactions.
- Experience with upselling, cross‑selling, and converting inquiries into orders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Technical proficiency and ability to learn new technologies and adapt to digital workflows quickly.
- Strong multitasking skills to handle inbound requests, proactive outreach, and documentation simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Comfortable with change and able to adjust to shifting priorities or new sales strategies.
- Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred or healthcare call center experience.
