Job summary

Belay is seeking a remote Sales Assistant contractor to support business owners and sales leaders through lead qualification, CRM management, outbound prospecting, scheduling, proposal support, and client onboarding.

Ideal candidates have experience supporting sales teams or founder-led sales in fast-paced environments and can operate independently with strong follow-through, discretion, and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Proven track record with 3+ years in sales support, sales operations, or similar revenue-facing role.
• Process-minded partner who owns the pipeline without detailed instructions.
• Comfortable qualifying leads, maintaining CRM hygiene, and coordinating outreach in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Qualification & Follow-Up: engage inbound leads to qualify fit and readiness; same-day responses to new inquiries; nurture non-ready prospects for future opportunities.
• CRM Management & Data Hygiene: maintain accurate records; pull lists for outreach; identify CRM gaps and act on them; manage CRM activities for reps.
