Job summary

Ledgebrook Insurance, LLC. is seeking a Reinsurance Operations Specialist to join our fully remote Operations Team.

You will support reinsurance brokers and internal teams across contract setup, data processing, settlement tracking, and client service delivery, gaining exposure to diverse reinsurance contracts. You will analyze terms, maintain data accuracy, and ensure compliant, timely lifecycle management while collaborating with Finance, Claims, and Technical Accounting.

Qualifications

3+ years in reinsurance with brokered placements experience
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements (sanctions, reporting obligations)
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Excellent written and verbal communication in English

Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret reinsurance contract terms for clarity and compliance.
Enter, update, and validate contract information in the company’s system.
Maintain contract records and status updates throughout the lifecycle.
Ensure accurate data labeling with an audit trail for risk data entries.
Check claim coverage, treaty/risk limits, and process data with Technical Accounting and Claims.
Verify and process claim settlement requests and related admin tasks from cedents.
Identify data discrepancies and collaborate with teams to resolve them.
Conduct regular data reviews and updates based on quality control reports.
Provide risk administration support to brokers and partners, including ad hoc data analysis.
