AgileEngine is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer to automate security controls and embed secure coding into cloud workflows. You will architect AI-enabled secure code scanning and drive secure-from-the-start adoption across teams.

The role requires 3+ years of software security experience, strong Python, and hands-on tooling with Wiz/Prisma Cloud, Terraform IaC checks, and CSPM runtime security. Autonomy is essential in enterprise code review and remediation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience combining software engineering, security implementation or architecture.
• Strong Python coding and scripting for security automation.
• Hands-on experience with Wiz, Prisma Cloud or similar CSPM tools.
• Experience with IaC/Terraform deploy-time checks.
• Experience with CSPM runtime security checks.
• Autonomous execution capable of mapping out and building automated security runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities and Golden Images to drive secure-from-the-start adoption.
• Automate secure coding patterns and integrate them with SDLC workflows.
• Architect integration of SAST, DAST, SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement runtime security checks via CSPM to maintain cloud visibility and threat posture.
• Review complex enterprise code (Java/Python) to provide code-level remediation guidance.
