AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Middle Application Security Engineer to perform hands-on DevSecOps work across CI/CD security integration, vulnerability tooling, and automated baseline deployment in a large financial services security program.

You will write Python scripts to tie SAST, DAST, and SCA gates into pipelines and guide Java/Python teams on secure coding practices. The role requires 3–5 years of combined software engineering and AppSec experience, with strong Python scripting and CI/CD

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of combined software engineering and AppSec experience.
• Solid Python scripting for automation.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and vulnerability scoring frameworks.
• Ability to provide code-level remediation guidance in Java and Python.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain scripts to integrate SAST, DAST, and SCA gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Tune and configure security scanning tools to reduce false positives and improve alert quality.
• Assist in deploying automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Provide actionable remediation guidance to development teams in Java and Python.
