AgileEngine seeks a Python Application Security Engineer to automate security controls and embed secure coding into cloud workflows. You will build and maintain security runbooks and collaborate with development teams to promote secure-by-default practices.

You’ll automate SAST/DAST workflows, integrate CSPM tools, and help scale secure software delivery across Fortune 500 and startup projects. Remote-friendly with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined software engineering and security experience.
• Strong Python coding and scripting for security automation.
• Experience with cloud security posture management (CSPM) and threat detection.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities.
• Automate secure coding patterns and integrate with CI/CD workflows.
• Integrate SAST/DAST/SCA tools into enterprise CI/CD pipelines and tune to reduce noise.
• Implement CSPM-based runtime security checks for cloud environments.
• Review complex Java/Python code to provide remediation guidance.
