Job summary

Robertson College is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to consult during the development of our course titled "Project Management". The successful candidate will work on a contract basis with flexible hours and a remote arrangement.

The role requires PMP or CAPM certification, strong project management knowledge, and experience in developing training materials. This contract is up to 20 hours with a remote work setup and a duration through September 30, 2026.

Qualifications

• PMP or CAPM certification required.
• Strong understanding of Project Management and PMBOK.
• Experience managing projects.
• Experience facilitating workshops or training sessions on Project Management is an asset.
• Experience with using AI to manage projects an asset.
• Experience developing training programs or courses for professional and educational purposes is an asset.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Collaborative team player.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation of the course framework in collaboration with the Course Developer.
• Provide video/audio content for the course in alignment with the Development and Design Framework and in collaboration with the Course Developer and Instructional Designer.
• Source and create content (readings, video, PPTs, etc.) for the course as required while adhering to Robertson Branded Style Guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Course Developer and Instructional Designer to create/adapt assessment types, descriptions, and evaluation criteria, ensuring that assessments mirror authentic tasks required of a professional in an aligning role.
• Respond to specific questions about technical aspects of course content and assessments posed by the Course Developer and Instructional Designer.
• Update the project tracking sheet as required.
• Attend project meetings as required.
