Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Elastic Security to own the product voice for our most strategic enterprise customers. You will manage enhancement requests across many accounts, translating customer needs into a coherent product direction and prioritizing with data and judgment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in B2B enterprise software.
• Experience with named strategic accounts, hyperscalers, MSSPs and/or PubSec is a solid plus.
• Hands-on security domain knowledge with SIEM, SOAR, XDR or broader security operations platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the enhancement request pipeline across multiple strategic enterprise accounts.
• Translate customer requirements into shipped products.
• Turn input from strategic accounts into successful products.
• Feed validated customer patterns back into core product roadmaps.
• Serve as the primary product voice in meetings with senior customer stakeholders.
• Prioritize customer-sourced requirements using structured frameworks such as RICE.
• Write requirements engineers can act on with minimal clarification meetings.
• Support deal cycles with RFP responses and security questionnaires.
• Navigate tension between contractual expectations and internal roadmap.
• Create artifacts like roadmap trackers and decision memos.
• Advocate for customer needs while balancing market needs.
