Job summary

RocketJobs is seeking an experienced Accountant to take end-to-end ownership of accounting for the Polish entity, while supporting international operations and collaborating with global teams.

You will manage month-end close, VAT, JPK_V7, CIT, and liaise with auditors. The role requires fluent Polish and English, strong independence, and a proactive mindset. Remote or hybrid work options are available, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Experience owning end-to-end accounting for a Polish entity.
• Fluency in Polish and English.
• Independence and accountability in managing full accounting cycle.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of accounting for the Polish entity in compliance with Polish laws and Polish GAAP and internal policies.
• Support international accounting operations and collaborate with global teams on reporting.
• Coordinate with external partner to implement the Polish NetSuite module and validate its functionality.
• Record and verify financial documents, reconcile balances and maintain fixed assets.
• Prepare VAT registers, tax returns and mandatory reports including JPK_V7 and CIT.
• Manage month-end and year-end closures and liaise with auditors and authorities.
• Improve accounting processes and implement changes required by tax regulations.
• Demonstrate extensive accounting expertise and independently manage full accounting cycle.
• Contribute to international team collaborations and process improvements.
• Show proactive approach and willingness to propose improvements.
