Job summary

Shapely is seeking a Concierge Specialist – Patient Support Coordinator for a fully remote role aligned with Pacific Time (PST). You will be the first contact for prospective patients, guiding them into care and answering questions about eligibility and cost.

You will handle inquiries across phone, email, chat, and social channels, coordinate with clinical and admin teams, and support retention with proactive follow-ups. This role emphasizes empathy, privacy, and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a patient-facing or healthcare/telehealth environment.
• Exceptional warm, empathetic communication with strong active listening.
• Excellent written and verbal English; HIPAA/privacy knowledge (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and social channels for existing patients.
• Serve as a warm, knowledgeable point of contact about care, medications, and accounts.
• Manage patient support tickets end-to-end and follow SOPs for resolution.
• Coordinate with Prior Authorization, Admin, and clinical teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Proactively check in with patients to support retention and satisfaction.
• Gather patient feedback to improve programs and processes.
