Job summary

CM Energy Concepts LLC is seeking an ambitious sales professional to identify opportunities, win contracts, and build a client portfolio across Greater Houston. You will source leads, present proposals, and coordinate with estimating and operations teams to close business.

Initially, the role is commission-only, with potential transition to a salaried position tied to milestones and revenue performance. You must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B outside sales or business development.
• Ability to generate leads and secure new business independently.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and maintain organized records.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Greater Houston.

Responsibilities

• Prospect through in-person visits, cold calls, email outreach, referrals, and networking.
• Build relationships with decision-makers throughout Greater Houston.
• Identify upcoming construction projects, electrical upgrades, lighting projects, and facility service needs.
• Secure bid invitations and help CMEC qualify as an approved vendor or subcontractor.
• Gather project information and coordinate site visits with the estimating and operations teams.
• Present CMEC’s services and proposals to prospective clients.
• Follow up consistently on opportunities, quotations, and pending decisions.
• Negotiate within company-approved pricing and contract guidelines.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of contacts, meetings, proposals, and next steps.
• Coordinate the handoff of awarded projects to operations.
• Maintain relationships with your accounts and identify repeat business opportunities.
